The people related to you that you think will have unconditional love for you and protect you under the title "family" are the ones that want to see you fail or at least not do better than them and they prey on you because you're within their reach so they are the snakes that you have to watch the closest. You never outgrow past trauma and abuse you just learn to manage it on some days. This is my chance to finally share my truth and my hurt in my own words and if hearing it is hard just imagine what living it felt like.
