This website (www.hkbookcity.com) is owned by and operated by and on behalf of Hong Kong Book City ("we" or "us").

1. Order and Payment
1.1 All prices quoted are subject to alteration according to publishers' final confirmation.
1.2 By placing an order with us, you agree to and accept these terms and conditions.
1.3 Once you have placed an order, you will receive an automatic email confirmation. Please note that this confirmation only confirms your offer to purchase, and does not constitute our acceptance nor a contract between us.
1.4 Please provide us with a proof of payment if you paid by bank transfer or payme (please kindly quote your order number in the proof of payment). Upon verification of your proof of payment, we will send you a payment confirmation email within 2 working days. Please contact us if you do not receive the confirmation email.
1.5 We will send a delivery confirmation email to you once we are ready to ship your order. This delivery confirmation constitutes our acceptance of your order and forms a contract between you and Hong Kong Book City.
1.6 Orders cannot be cancelled nor amended after payment is made.
1.7 Payment cannot be transferred to another order unless approved by us.

2. Delivery
2.1 Under normal circumstances, your order will only be delivered when it is completed, i.e. when all the books in your order have arrived our warehouse. Yet, if some titles in your order are predicted to arrive late (e.g. due to a late publishing date), we can, upon your request, deliver the books that arrived on time to you first. An extra delivery fee will be charged for the additional delivery.
2.2 We strive to deliver your order at the earliest opportunity. Yet, we are not responsible for delays due to stock unavailability or delays caused by the publisher or transportation.
2.3 For undelivered orders, please contact us to arrange re-delivery. Undelivered orders will be disposed after 2 months from the first delivery.

3. Refund and Return
3.1 We hope that you will be satisfied with your purchase, but if the books delivered are defective, please contact us within 7 days of receiving the books to arrange an exchange or refund.
3.2 In the unexpected event that certain books cannot be ordered from the publisher, we will notify you about this via email and arrange a refund of the respective amount. The refund will be credited according to your original payment method, i.e. credit card, PayMe or bank deposit. It can take up to three weeks for the refund payment to appear in your bank account.
3.3 Other than the circumstances specified in 3.1 and 3.2, no exchanges nor refunds are allowed once payment is made.
