This book is a collection of papers that search for the very meaning of
globalization and its implications for education and explore the connections
that globalization is bringing about in educational research, change and reform
in the 21st century. The book has drawn upon the wisdom and experience of
experts who have intimately involved in important educational reforms in Hong
Kong, mainland China, Taiwan, Japan, Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, and
the United States.
