商品簡介

The right to education should not be a privilege for only some children. Children with special needs, including those with mental retardation, communication disorders, physical disabilities, behavior disorders, learning disabilities, visual or hearing impairments, and gifted and creative abilities, are entitled to a free and appropriate public education. This book provides fundamental information on children with exceptionalities, and ways to help them learn more effectively. It may help readers clarify many of their misunderstandings on special needs education.

This is a practical and concise book written in a systematic manner, and its contents can be applied to various educational and non-school settings. It is a wealth of resources for both pre-service and in-service field practitioners.
